| Appraiser Comments: | In the mid-70’s, virtuoso George Benson had a vision of the cutting edge features a jazz guitar needed to survive in the new world of amplification, and the durability it would need to survive on the road. The GB-10 was made to his specifications. Twenty-five years later, this modern jazz classic is still being produced, and is still amazingly popular.
It features the George Benson neck, a smaller body, a spruce top with maple back and sides, and ebony bridge. SInce I am unable to examine this item in person, it is assumed for the purpose of this appraisal to be an original issue 1970s George Benson GB10 Ibanez guitar, with Benson's signature inside, in excellent condition, with no flaws whatsoever. The values given below are based on these assumptions. |
